Nope I Don't Miss It
Humidity, sigh.
We’re actually getting some monsoon weather in Chandler this summer. A little bit cooler, but a lot more humid. The last few days it was in the low 80s at the time of my daily runs. That’s a welcome change from high 80s or low 90s that are the norm.
The humidity is normally in 20s at that time of day, but due to overnight storms its been in the high 70s. At the end of the last 2 runs, I was completely soaked with sweat and it felt like my running outfit weighed 10 pounds.
After 7-ish years in the desert, I’m beginning to like the so called dry heat Yeah, running when its 90 out a 4:30 is still a slog, but if the humidity is low, its way more comfortable.
